Málaga TechPark Launches Núcleo Deep Tech Hub

Málaga’s transformation from a holiday destination into Southern Europe’s premier technology ecosystem has reached a critical milestone. On July 7, 2026, Málaga TechPark (Parque Tecnológico de Andalucía) officially inaugurated ‘Núcleo’, a specialized incubator designed to foster the next generation of European startups in photonics, microelectronics, and semiconductors.

This launch strengthens the city’s positioning within the global deep-tech sector, aligning with European efforts to secure technological sovereignty in hardware and microchip design.

A Dedicated Incubator for Deep Tech

According to a report by El Español, ‘Núcleo’ has been established to bridge the gap between academic research and commercial viability in highly complex tech sectors.
